Lisa Dawson

Lisa is Director of the ‘Run With It’ charity, with centres at MKM Stadium, Flemingate Shopping Centre in Beverley and Bridlington Town FC. She is in charge of staff and volunteers, budget management, business development and progression, co-ordination and delivery of learning programmes in literacy, numeracy and ICT.

Lisa’s role involves ensuring programmes of study are in line with national and local guidelines and undertaking evaluation and monitoring of programmes of study, assessing progress of children whilst on the charity’s programmes. Furthermore, she works in partnership with schools, Hull CC and ERYC education, the stadium and centre staff, local businesses and other relevant agencies.

Lisa’s qualified teacher status means that she and she has been an active part of the education system for many years. With this experience it brings many of the qualifications and qualities that Edukos Trust needs in its governance structure.

Outside of work Lisa is mum to three boys and wife to Andy. This world keeps her very busy, mainly from the touchline, as all boys including her husband are very heavily involved in the footballing world.

Lisa is passionate about young people and their education; it is for that reason that she is a welcome and valued member of Edukos Trust

Development and leadership of centre staff in delivery of functional Maths & English. 

Alternative curriculum provision and delivery. 

 

Additional Responsibilities for example leading courses, overseeing work experience etc. 

Centre Manager at the KCOM Stadium Run With It charity, in charge of staff and volunteers, budget management, business development and progression, co-ordination and delivery of learning programmes in literacy, numeracy and ICT. 

Ensures programmes of study are in line with national and local guidelines. 

Evaluation and monitoring of programmes of study assessing progress of pupils. 

Partnership working with schools, Hull CC education, stadium, local business and other relevant agencies. 

Frequently monitor and evaluate teaching and learning within the centre. 

Liaise with school and education staff to develop programmes of study. 

Lead Tutor for Run With It at the KCOM Stadium in all subject. 

Lead Tutor in Functional Skills – English and Maths.
