Hannah Myers

I have been teaching at Swanland for the past 26 years. I am part of the SLT and Lead the EYFS and Early Reading/Phonics. I am very passionate about supporting colleagues to provide a Systematic Synthetic Phonic programme which empowers our children to become confident, fluent readers. I believe that Strong Phonic Teaching which is consistent across all classes, and the use of diagnostic assessment to support individual needs is vital for success and progress. I endeavour to create a culture where staff feel supported and are able to have open dialogues about enabling the best possible outcomes for the children which we work with. I look forward to the opportunity to work with staff across the Trust.
