Daniella Richardson

I’m Daniella and I am a Year 5 teacher and MFL lead at Swanland School. During my PGCE year, I did a placement at Swanland working in Year 1 and I have loved working at the school ever since!

Learning a new language was something I looked forward to most when starting secondary school. Since then, I have studied Spanish with English Literature at Hull University. Throughout this time, I have also had the opportunity to study French modules and even a little Italian whilst on my Erasmus year in Spain.

 

I have always been passionate about travel and languages and enjoyed working as cabin crew at British Airways before training to become a teacher. I enjoy sharing my experiences with the children and supporting them in developing their own love for exploring new languages.

I am really looking forward to getting involved with working with other MFL leads across the trust and being able to support others with the teaching and learning of languages in their schools.
