Teaching Assistant (Level 2) Part Time, Fixed Term (Term Time Only).

Salary:  £26,427 p.a pro rata (£13.70 per hour)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.40am to 12pm and 12.30pm to 3.25pm, 31 hours and 15 minutes per week (term time only). We welcome applications from candidates seeking a job-share arrangement and are happy to consider part-time working patterns for the right applicant(s).

Swanland Primary School is a 2-form entry Primary school in the heart of Swanland Village. We are part of Edukos Trust and have 420 children on role ranging from 4- 11 years of age.

We are looking for inspirational teaching assistants qualified to level 2 or above. You will have experience of working with children with additional needs in a school environment. As a school we can offer you a warm and welcoming environment with lots of opportunities for support and upskilling.

The vacancy involves both working on a one-to-one basis, supporting children with additional needs, as well as general classroom support.

This is a Level 2 post and would be suitable for someone with a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above, although, we would also consider candidates currently studying for their Teaching Assistant qualification.
